David Andow is a leader committed to bringing out the best in people, with over 18 years of leadership experience. He leads and supports the charge for EventPro Strategies in operations, human resources, technology, strategic planning and business development. He plays an intricate role in EventPro Strategies’ global expansion. David’s primary responsibility as EventPro Strategies’ chief operating officer is to ensure the execution at the national and international levels with successful product delivery to EventPro Strategies’ clients while leading and developing team members. Over the years, David has developed systems and standards he calls “Landscaping” that have built foundations strong enough to withstand and support explosive growth for such companies as Cold Stone Creamery and Re-Bath Corporation. “I have always been a firm believer in defining the company strategy that supports our vision, thus allowing us to unify the teams’ direction and ability to achieve our goals and aspirations,” David says. Before joining EventPro Strategies, David was the owner and president of Arts Alive, an art gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, featuring original artwork, custom framing, wholesale distribution and publishing. He also served on the board for the American Society of Interior Designers AZ. Arts Alive was honored with the Industry Partner of the Year Award in 2008. Additionally, Arts Alive was selected from among hundreds of vendors to be the key feature in Costco’s art walks. David served as the vice president of development, executive vice president, and chief operating officer for Cold Stone Creamery from 2001 to 2006. Under his leadership, Cold Stone Creamery grew from 147 locations to over 1,300 locations in seven countries! Cold Stone Creamery became the fastest growing company in its category and ranked the 11th fastest growing company by Entrepreneur Magazine for all categories. David also re-launched the franchise division for Re-Bath Corporation. Over a period of 10 years from 1991 to 2001, he held the positions of national sales manager, director of franchise development and training, and vice president and general manager. Ultimately, he led Re-Bath Corporation to become what is now the largest franchise organization of its kind. David doubled the size of Re-Bath his first year and continued on that path for four straight years. More importantly, while doing this, net margins remained in double digits even during this extreme growth! David has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has been affiliated with many organizations and associations—including International Council of Shopping Centers, International Franchise Association, American Society of Interior Designers, Trust Funding of America, and Make-A-Wish Foundation—in conjunction with Cold Stone Creamery. |
