EventPro Strategies’ Client Civic Entertainment Executes High-Profile Marketing Stunt for the NHL Playoffs in New York City’s Times Square! | Print |

EventPro Strategies is thrilled to have taken part in a recent promotional stunt by Civic Entertainment for the National Hockey League’s 2012 Playoffs. Civic worked with NBC Sports in building a giant replica of hockey’s Stanley Cup which was positioned in the middle of Times Square for three days. While the replica was remarkable simply standing 21-feet high and weighing 6,600 pounds, it also functioned as a working water fountain, pumping water for passers-by to sample with promotional cups that were distributed throughout the crowd. EPS provided a team of ten brand ambassadors who worked in the area of the fountain, interacting with the crowd and generating interest in the Stanley Cup replica. In addition, EPS hired talent to wear suits and deliver the life-size chocolate Stanley Cup replicas to various radio stations to raise interest and excitement for the event.

It was with much excitement that EventPro Strategies, the leader in experiential marketing staffing and execution, provided talent to support the Oprah Lifeclass Tour at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis, Missouri. The EPS team successfully embodied the Oprah brand, greeting event attendees with warmth as they listened to the stories of many of those who attended the event. People drove to St. Louis from all over the country for the opportunity to join the Lifeclass taping. In addition, as pictured, the EPS team featured three outstanding staff members for the event who also represented three generations of one family!
